For the August 2023 issue of Art Unlimited magazine, we designed a poster titled “Disobedient”, in collaboration with photographer Selim Süme and designer Erman Yılmaz.

This special production was printed as a double-sided centerfold, allowing readers to tear it out and use it as a standalone poster. It was conceived as a visual form of protest.

In this interdisciplinary work, Selim Süme’s quiet yet powerful photographs were combined with Erman Yılmaz’s bold and layered typographic structure, where the form of the text becomes part of the message.

The notion of “disobedience” was framed not within strictly political or individual contexts, but as a stance that questions passive forms of dissent in contemporary visual culture.
